According to COA 75-6 “The use of government! motor vehicles for private social functions such as receptions, balls, theaters, and for other personal purposes is absolutely prohibited. Likewise, use thereof by the spouses, children, relatives, friends, etc. of the officials entitled thereto, even if they are in the company of said officials, is strictly prohibited(COA Circulars 75-6, supra and 84-238, Nov.6,1984)” #MahiyaNamanKau – Armando Gallemit Jr.
I believe that Kris is entitled to ride the presidential helicopter or any other government vehicle being a part of the first family. That is her privilege and for her protection and I don’t have a beef with that especially if she is with the president. But they are walking on a thin line here because it’s for a political campaign and she is campaigning for Roxas. The president is allowed to endorse his chosen candidate but if Kris will campaign for Roxas she should not use the government’s vehicle as it’s her personal choice to campaign for Roxas and she is not an elected official. It’s just her privilege to ride government vehicles. If she’s riding the vehicles then it’s just because she’s part of the first family but not part of the campaign. She just has to choose what she would be. – swumpus
Kaya meron nakalagay sa mga gov’t vehicles “FOR OFFICIAL USE ONLY” pati fuel nyan gastos ng bayan. This is more serious than the rape joke. Talagang ginahasa ng LP ang taong bayan. Ano kaya comment ng Comelec sa issue na ito? – Matt Illorde
