Although P30 and P30 Pro are the real stars of today, they are not the only products presented by the Chinese company. Huawei has also introduced two new products, two wireless headphones , of which one pair is true wireless.
Let’s start with the most “simple”, ie FreeLace . These wireless headphones have a cable that connects them , which also contains the controls for playback . They are made of metal and “liquid silicone”, which should provide headphones with a soft touch effect on the skin.
The cable that joins the two headphones is actually composed of two parts, and is divided in half: inside is inserted a USB-C connector that can be inserted in any Huawei smartphone for a quick coupling through Huawei’s HiPair technology ( required at least EMUI 9.1). In addition, the USB-C connector allows you to charge your headphones directly from your smartphone .
Speaking of autonomy , Huawei declares 18 hours of audio playback , 13 hours of call and 12 days of standby with active bluetooth. Everything is made possible by a generous battery and a bluetooth chip that consumes 60% less than previous versions. A 5 minute recharge allows you to listen to music for 4 hours .
On the audio side , the headphones are equipped with 9.2 mm dynamic drivers , and the microphone has a double cavity design to reduce wind noise on call. Then we find the technology of the Magnetic Switch (to send them to standby when the headphones are connected) and voice assistant.
Huawei FreeLace will be available from April 11th in four colors: Graphite Black, Amber Sunrise, Emerald Green and Moonlight Silver. The price is around Php5000.
The Huawei Freebuds Lite are true wireless headphones with a declared 12-hour autonomy . Obviously these headphones go to fight directly against Apple’s Airpods 2 . They have an IPX4 certification, so they are not really waterproof. They will come at a price of Php 6000 Pesos .
